Primary Responsibilities:
Receive, coordinate and process calls from customers and salespersons for rental and used equipment. Initiate/schedule deliveries and process paperwork, invoices, records, files and reports. Collaborate with management to monitor rental equipment and used truck inventories to facilitate the buying and selling of assets. Process credits and re-invoicing of equipment when necessary. Maintain complete files on all orders.
Assist coworkers as necessary. Follow-up and review service costs as needed and make recommendations to management on truck asset replacement. Provide information to reconcile disputes with customers when needed. Approve and code vendor invoices for payment. Physically tag equipment when received into the branch and perform physical inventories as required. Review and process miscellaneous paperwork. Attend meetings with customers and/or staff. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. A college or associates’ degree, preferably in business, would be helpful.
Must possess good communication, organizational, and computer skills.
Knowledge of territory and related trucking issues would be helpful for this position.
Per 8-hour shift, must be able to sit 6 hours, stand 1 hour, walk 1 hour, see, talk, and hear. Must be able to frequently keyboard and use mouse and lift/carry/push/pull up to 10 lb. Must be able to occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 20 lbs., bend/stoop/twist, squat, reach below knee level, reach above shoulder level, climb stairs, grip/grasp, torque, work with arm outstretched, work above chest level, use vibratory tools, and pinch grip. Ability to safely operate lift trucks which requires good binocular vision is preferred. Ability to distinguish colors preferred. Possible exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, solvents, fuels, battery acid, and noise pollution. Must be willing to travel to customer locations, and must be willing to travel for training opportunities, up to 5%.
